Back To School

Well after an eventful (full of lots of driving/traveling) 7 week break, the time has come to start back at another semester at school. This will be David's last semester here at BYU-Idaho, and then next semester he will do a research internship and maybe take some classes for fun (he really enjoys school...) !! I was not sure I was ready for today to be the first say of school. Every other semester I have felt ready and excited. This semester I have had a dose of senioritis or I guess you could call it "lack of motivation" to start another semester! I was hoping this would be my last semester and I would be done in December as well, but life gave us a beautiful baby girl and I had to take her and my stress level into consideration! So for this term I will be taking 12 credits (2 on campus classes and one online) and then doing my internship each morning, and extending graduation until April! The walking around campus has proven to be a bit of a challenge for me...but it will keep me in shape right?!?! All in all I hope that I am able to balance the baby and school pretty well, and then pray she comes during Thanksgiving break! She is full of kicks and jabs these days.... and I haven't gotten tired of it yet! :) Each kick is like she is saying, "Hi Mom...just wanted to let you know i'm here and can't wait to see you!". It is quite funny though being in class with our little princess. She has much more excitement about school than I do. She kicks and moves around all during my classes (this makes paying attention very hard!!). We are still deciding on names for her, hopefully when we see her for the first time we will know what name on our list fits her best!!

Here is a picture of David's "last 1st day" of school as an undergrad!

(29 weeks pregnant)
So here is a little something I learned today from the website for what to expect when your expecting (This sure is going to make this semester enjoyable!!) :

Forgetfulness: "No wonder your brain feels especially foggy these days — hormones are wreaking havoc on your memory and your brain-cell volume actually decreases during the third trimester. Try not to take this temporary pregnancy symptom to heart — stressing about it will only cloud your pregnancy brain even more".

......really....less brain cell volume!! This baby owes me big time!! :)

  1. Hahaha! That last comment you said was hilarious! You will probably remind her when she's 12 and being frustrating and you will say, "You owe me big time! I had to go to school with half a brain because of you!" hahahaha
