Our Little Princess!

Now that we are finally out for a 7 week break from school I have a plenty of time to catch you all up on our lives. On July 7th we found out that we are officially having a baby GIRL!!! We are so excited and cannot wait for our little princess to be here. Today at church we watch other people with their babies and Dave leaned over and whispered, "I want our baby right now.." (too bad she can't come out for another 3 months...) It just melts us to watch all the other little babies around us in their sunday best with their adorable smiles. It is hard to believe that our time to be parents has finally come, and God has blessed us with our own perfect baby girl.

As of today I am officially 22 weeks and 5 days, so basically 23 weeks (and obviously loving my sweatpants!!). It is crazy to think that in one more week I will be 6 months along with only a little over 3 months to go. Other than thinking about giving birth, and gaining more weight, I am so anxious for our little girl to bless us with her presence in our home! Here are some pictures that many of you have been asking me to post of the progress of our princess. We are in love with her already... and loved seeing her at our last ultrasound!!

Before Dave and I went into the appointment to find out what we were having we both wrote down on pieces of paper what we thought it was going to be, and then without showing one another put them into my wallet until the sex was revealed! They say great minds think alike, and I guess it's true because Dave and I BOTH guessed girl!! It was all so surreal, I couldn't help but get a tad emotional. She looked so real this time as well. The doctors said she was absolutely perfect and measuring in the 44th percentile... LET HOPE SHE STAYS THERE! That would mean momma only has to deliver a baby that is around 6 lbs!! :)

We will put up pictures soon of the ultrasound!! Let's just say she played hide and go seek the whole time... She would not move her hands away from her face!! It was too cute, I guess she is a little shy! Who would have thought?! The ultrasound tech tried to get her to move the hands for quite some time. Our little girl seemed to retaliate though because after trying for so long she pulled her feet up over her face and held them with her hands over her face allowing us to get no 3D shot of her face!! It was so cute.... The tech was impressed with how flexible she was!! I promise to put up the pictures as soon as I get the un-jammed from my computer :(
